Werewolf vs Bunny: Part One

This is a semi-commission but not really. The idea comes from a short story I made a year or so back based off a comment from Cyra. The position of the bunny is somewhat based off the position of characters in a Fwirl kung fu picture. The werewolf is my character Kris and the bunny...is a bunny.

Anyhoo, this is only part one of the event. Look for part two if you are looking at this one.

While I'm on topic, here is the first part of the story:

The werewolf stared at the rabbit a long and tense moment. Their ears twitched, they blinked; yet they didn't move. The only way that this situation could end was death.

It was inevitable. All things in this type of standoff ended in death. Did the players know it though?

The moonbeams flowed across the scene of snowdrifts and snow-blasted trees. The shadows of the forest dimmed everything to a bluish hue.

Moments are not stable forces in the universe as we know it, they can fluctuate from hours to seconds, days to year. What happens in those moments is what matters.

The gray fur of the werewolf glistened in the moonlight. He stepped forward, the rabbit kept its ground, its nose twitched. A low, sliding on the edge of maniac, growl grew from the werewolf’s chest, growing until it a rumbling spread through the woods like a thick fog of rage and anger. The rabbit lifted a forepaw.

The growling stopped.

The rabbit flicked a whisker.

A deep breath, a collective sound, two beasts together, in the moment.

The lunge, the leap, the claws, the teeth, the paws, the eyes, the blood, the kicks the growls, the streaks of fur, it all happened in a moment...
